I'm just starting to look for an engagement rings and was wondering if you could help someone quite new to this with ,some information on diamond quality? What should I stay away from if I want a white sparkly diamond?
When you are looking for a diamond you need to decide whether you are more interested in the size of the diamond or the quality of the diamond.
It sounds to me like you want an eye clean stone, so for that in the clarity range ,you will want to stay SI3 or better.Anything lower than that and you will see inclusions with the naked eye. As far as color you want to stay D-J. Anything lower then J you will start to see some color come into the stone.
